Students will research important sites in historic Philadelphia.
Introduction
Philadelphia has been called the "birthplace of our nation." Why is that? In buildings across Philadelphia, we declared our independence from England, wrote our Constitution, even designed the first American flag. You are about to become an expert on one important site in historic Philadelphia. You will become the voice of that building. What if your walls could talk? What tales would they tell us about their significance?
