Process
1. Get into your groups of three.
Take turns playing the alphabet games.
The person sitting in front of the computer should be using the mouse while the other two help.
2.You should all get along in your groups, please do not fight over the games. Listen to each other.
3. Use these websites to help you learn how to spell your first and last name.
I know some of you know your name but every once in a while get the letters switched around, do your best to help each other learn how your names are spelled.
This will be the end of our alphabet lesson, when we are done with this webquest, everyone should know how to spell thier first and last name.
Everyone feel free to ask any questions about anything.
The first website is: http://www.linkopedia.com/kids.html
When you get to this website click on the first link.
Each of you should draw the animal that starts with the same letter as your first name then the animal that starts with the same letter as your last name. Example:
Lauren Oropeza i would draw a Llama and an ostrich.
The second website is: http://www.lettertv.net/pages/audioalpha.htm
Turn your volume up.
When you click on a letter, it will say the letter outloud.
I want each student to spell out thier name by clicking on the letters of your name in order.
The third website is: http://www.learningplanet.com/act/fl/aact/index.asp
In this website click on all the letters and find the letters in your first and last names.
4. Like i said this is the end of our alphabet lesson
When you finish a game i would like for you to call me or a parent helper over to see what you have done. Be sure to ask questions if you do not understand the games or if you need help.
Who ever is at the computer is the team leader.
