Students need to be aware of, and develop and understanding of objects in the sky each day. Also, students should be able to identify changes in the sky and weather and describe what they see and why it happens. Clouds are some of the largest, most visible and important objects in the sky that change each day. Clouds also affect the weather on planet Earth. Students should be able to identify different types of clouds and patterns.

Teacher Introduction

As students grow, they become more aware of the world around them. Clouds are important parts of our lives as humans, even though we may not realize it. The weather affects every person from where they live to what they do each day. Clouds play a very important part in the changes that weather exhibits all over the world and the lives that humans lead. Students will begin to think critically on these areas and make connections using various information.
