- The idea for this project came about through a one-week workshop sponsored by the Hawaii D.O.E Career and Technology Education and facilitated by Sherilyn Lau and JoAnn Facuri. Collaborating with these other Business Career Pathway Core teachers, such as my Cooperating Teacher Bruce Kawachika, created a series of projects that were aligned to the state's CTE Business Core Standards. Working with these other state teachers helped me create projects that are specific to my students. If it wasn't for this workshop and the teachers, this wouldn't have become a reality.
