FIRST STEPS:
Pick a partner.
Take a virtual tour of a few of the provinces and territories.
Select one of the following provinces or territories.
Record the information you will be using.
Review the following requirements for your 10 slide Power Point presentation.
1. Name of your province or territory
2. Capital city and flag
3. Location / map
4. Entry requirements
5. Main attractions
6. Weather & climate
7. Language spoken
8. Pictures / clip art / music
9. Currency and Exchange
10. Summary (about you and your reasons for selecting this destination)
CREATING A POWER POINT PRESENTATION
In order to accomplish the task, review the directions for Power Point presentations or follow these basic instructions:
1. Choose a blank presentation.
2. Choose a layout and click "ok"
3. Click in the text boxes and type what you wish.
4. Click on insert and then click on "new slide". This will allow you to create a new slide. (If you would like to go back to the previous slide, click on the arrow in the right corner of your screen under the tool bar.)
5. To add color, click on format and then "apply design." Click on the color scheme that you like and click "apply".
6. To create your own background select "blank layout". Click "ok" and go to format and select "background". Next, go to the small rectangular box at the bottom and click on the arrow. Select "fill effects" and click. Now you need to select the color combinations that you wish.
7. To add slide transition designs, click on slide show and click on "slide transitions". Click on the arrow in the green box and choose a transition that you like. To add sound, click on sound and choose a sound that you like. To add the sound and slide transiton design to your presentation click on "apply to all".
8. To continue to add slides, click on insert, and then click on new slide. Type in the boxes what you wish.
9. To view your slide show, click on slide show and then click on "view show."
10. To move from one slide to the next while you're viewing the show click anywhere on the screen.
11. To end your show, click on the arrow in the bottom left-hand corner of the screen and then click on show.

Submit your plan for approval before beginning your presentation.
Create and present your Power Point to your classmates.
