Audience/Needs: Grade 7 (13 - 14). At this level students need to add to the knowledge gained in Grade Six (6). The opportuinity will be provided for students to be actively involved in creating their knowledge using information technology and other tools.
Prerequisite knowledge:
Students should be able to:
- Identify the Earth's Layers
- State characteristics of the Earth's crust, mantle, and core
- Explain how rocks are formed
- Differentiate between dormant, extinct, and active volcanoes
