For this project, students are required to know about the Seven Ancient Wonders of the World. Based on that knowledge, students will actively use the web to research places around the world that they believe should be included in the list of Wonders of the World. Students will need to research the history of the place they selected and give details that they believe make this an outstanding destination to visit. They will create a travel itinerary from Seguin, Texas, to their destination using on-line map directions (including satellite images), modes of travel required, and a time schedule including the distance and time needed to travel. Students will also create an advertisement to attract tourists to visit the site they have selected and create an appropriate related souvenir, as well as a PowerPoint presentation with information and photographs of the Wonder they selected. As a culminating activity, students will present the results of their research to the class who will select Seven Saegert Wonders of the World.
