Process
Step One:
First, in groups of six, decide what country you would like to visit then click on the link to find their resources.
Step Two:
Then, in your group, choose a partner, and decide which area you would like to find out about on your journey. The areas you can choose are:
“About the Place”, “About the People”, or “About the Culture”.
Step Three:
-
Once you have decided on your locations with your group and areas of interest with your partner, you will find your country's section of the page and click on the resources you will be using to discover facts and information about your country.
You are set to begin your journey! The internet resources will help you find the answers to your questions that were listed on the Task page.
-
REMINDER: Keep a record of your notes you take during your journey! They will be very helpful for you and your partner when you have to reconnect with your group members. Your notes along with anything you print will allow you to easily transfer your facts onto your group poster!
Step Four:
- Once you have found the information about your area of interest with your partner, you will get together with your six group members and talk about what you discovered about the places, people and culture of your country. Keep your notes on hand to share with your team members.
Step Five:
-
Discuss with group members what you want the group poster to look like. Decide what information you want to include and if there is any information you don’t need to include. Try to be descriptive and creative with the facts that you discovered on your journey!
