With this WebQuest, students will be able to learn interesting facts about cows without actually going to the farm.
Learners
This lesson is designed for Primary Students (Kindergarten - Grade 3) including Language Arts, Science, and Technology learning outcomes.
Children in my Kindergarten / Grade 1 classroom love to represent their ideas through drawing and writing from the very beginning of school and are continually developing these skills. This unit of study integrates literacy, science, social studies and technology.

Evaluation

In the evaluation section is a rubric designed to evaluate student work
When considering assessment, students will be assessed individually based on their own level of development. The final product will be student-created books which should include the following elements:
- Cover page with name of student and title of book.
- Illustration of a cow.
- Information represented through drawings and dictation or student writing.
The teacher will conference with each child about his/her work.
Students will have time to work through this WebQuest during center time and theme time in our classroom. We have one computer with interent access in our classroom.
At our school, we have also access to internet-ready computers in our computer lab.
