Teacher Process
The "Evening in Peru" webquest comes with five lessons. Each lesson has an individual instruction sheet and associated web-sites, textbook references along with a rubric. The teacher should only need to be facilitator and evaluator of these activities. However, depending on the level of ability, some students may require a greater amount of assistance
Each activity can be completed in four or five 50 minute class periods. Also, this web-quest can be used several times in the classroom in which students take on different roles each time.
In the event of a lack of facilities, the groups can be modified so that 2 people can work on an activity (i.e., 8 per team). Also, if this is a small class, individual activites can be removed without jeopardizing the integrity of the web-quest.
