Have you ever wondered what it would be like to live in Peru? Now is your chance. Get a taste of Peru by bringing it to your classroom.
Teacher Introduction
Your class is hosting a party for a student that is moving from Peru. Your students will be making displays to show the new student during an "Evening in Peru" celebration. You expect meaningful, high quality work from your students.
This webquest will introduce the students to many fascinating aspects of Peru. They will learn about community, landscapes, animals, agriculture, lifestyles as well as culture. The constant use of technology (internet, downloading, image editing etc....) makes this a great addition to the classroom instruction.
If all goes well, it would be a great idea to make it a true celebration with a little display of the student's projects. Invite their parents for an afternoon Peruvian snack.
