Teacher Process

To create this WebQuest, I first decided on a project (the Task) to be used with To Kill a Mockingbird. I searched the internet for reliable and informative web sites on topics related to the historical background and setting of the novel, including Jim Crow laws, the Scottsboro Trials, and Monroeville. Next, I compiled a list of roles necessary to create a newspaper: Editor-in-Chief, Layout Editor, Copy Editor, and Research Editor. Finally, I created the WebQuest using QuestGarden after browsing several WebQuest generating web sites for the most user-friendly site.
