This webquest is designed for kids to learn more about a specific microorganism. As a group, students will then use this knowledge to create a fictional children's book with age appropriate terms that teaches a younger child about the mircoorganism.
Introduction
You are an author of children’s books. Your editor, Mrs. Stokes, has just asked you and three other authors to write a book that addresses ways that children can stay healthy. More specifically, she wants you to write a children’s book that addresses a virus or bacteria (microorganisms) that can make a child sick.
In order for your story to make a difference, it must have factual information. This is going to recquire you and your fellow authors to do a bit of research on microorganisms. Remember, children’s health may depend on your story!
