Task
At the end of this unit, you will have created an original play or scene never before seen by human (or other) eyes based on a play or scene from a play by William Shakespeare. If you do it well, it will be a script and production worthy of performance on stage at London's Globe Theatre. To get there, though, you'll have to get into Shakespeare's skin and understand the world in which he wrote. You'll have to translate that world and the themes of his plays into an updated script that can be easily understood by today's audiences. Finally, you will have documented your work in video format for presentation.
