Teacher Process
This webquest was designed to integrate into a science class on ecology and the rainforest. It follows with the Maine Learning Results for grades 5 and 6.
This webquest should take a class approximately three 45 minute classes to complete. Students will be working in groups of three, and will need time to look up information and answer questions. Each task is mapped out and given the necessary resources needed to complete each task. If time is an issue for you, you can choose to have all the handouts printed ahead of time and placed in a folder ready for the students to use.
At the end of their journey, each group of students, will write a letter explaining how important the rainforest is to our environment, and some ways on how to protect it.
