This is a webquest about snowflakes for 5th grade. In this quest, students will learn about how snowflakes are made, who discovered them and even how to make their own!

Introduction

Have you ever caught a snowflake on your tongue?  Of course you have!  But, have you ever really looked at a snowflake?  Or wondered where they come from?  Have you ever wondered how they are made?  Snowflakes are little miracles that are important for a lot of things you do in the winter.  You use them to go sledding, to build a snowman, even to have a snowball fight!  They are very important!  Do you want to know more about these tiny creations?  Come on in and find out!
