Credits

This project was completed as part of coursework during an online Professional Development course given at Fresno   Pacific   University (http://www.fresno.edu/).  My thanks to Professor George Smith and my fellow classmates who got me over my fear of using technology in the classroom! 

 

 

I especially need to thank my fellow classmate and school colleague, Chris Unangst, a school librarian.  She provided great advice on using our school’s databases for this web quest.  I highly recommend using databases over web sites because the information is just that much more credible. 

 

 

Finally, I thank all of my fellow teachers who put their much thought-out lessons and ideas on the web for me to use and revise for this project, especially Jessica Garnett for her web quest entitled, “Get Me out of Here!” (http://www.teachtheteachers.org/projects/JGarnett/index.htm)
