Process
Process/Step 1
Review the basics of business ethics and complete the online ethics survey. Write a 300 word reflection that should be incorporated into your PowerPoint presentation. Additionally, you were previously asked in a class discussion to identify the ethical theory that you feel best reflects your internal decision making processes. I would like you to rethink this question. The second link below contains an ethical theory chart. I would like you to reidentify, which ethical theory most reflects the way you conduct yourself professionally. Please, include a seperate 250 word slide with your response.

Process 3
Now for the fun! Select one of the assigned movies which you will need to rent via Net Flix, Red Box, or another source. Watch the assigned movie and answer the questions below. Please note, I will know whether you watched the movie or not. Do not attempt to get information off the internet (this includes coping a synposis that you may find online and which will not have been written with business ethics at the fore) and pass it off as your project (this will result in a failing grade). You will Create a PowerPoint presentation that addresses the following:
-
a plot synopsis of the movie,
-
an analysis of all ethical issues at stake,
-
a discussion of what if any legal issues are a factor,
-
a discussion of the prevailing ethical culture,
-
the role of management in the ethical culture,
-
relationship to relevant ethical theory(ies) covered in this course,
-
specific and detailed suggestions for changes to that ethical culture that includes specific actions and/or programs that should be put into place, and
-
a description of how and why this film contributes to our discourse and understanding of business ethics.
Your PowerPoint presentation for the movie should be a minimum of 12 slides (not including the title, table of contents, or reference slides).
Submitted with the presentation will be a file that contains each students survey results and the accompanying reflections as well as answers to all guiding questions. If you do not want to submit a seperate file, then you may incorporate this portion into your PowerPoint.
