Task

Task

In this WebQuest you are going to become an author, illustrtator, editor, publisher, and a public speaker.  Your team will create a book about the water cycle to help Scott answer some of Albert's questions.

Each team will be assigned a segment of the water cycle.  You will research your segment with your team.  Each team will then complete a poster that illustrates, defines, and gives an example of that specific part of the water cycle.  Each team will teach the whole class about their part of the water cycle.  Your team needs to be ready to answer peer questions.

Once the whole class understands all parts of the water cycle and how they are related to each other, your team will go back and create a picture book to help teach young children, like Albert, about the water cycle.  Your book will need to include details and explanations, as well as illustrations that cover each part of the water cycle we have discussed.

You will need to revise and edit your work.  Once you and your team decide that it is ready, take it to the head editor, your teacher, he/she will finalize any edits.  Once approved your team will be ready to publish the book.

On a specified day the whole class will go to a younger class and read their books to the younger students.  Your team should be prepared to answer questions like Albert's.
