Task

In this exercise, you are part of a group who represents the Commissioners Court of Valentine County . The county needs a new landfill. The prospective sites have been narrowed down to three. Each site has some advantages and disadvantages; none is ideal. As commissioners, you will study a county map, a site analysis, and a news report of a public hearing. Use the decision chart to help you organize the information from these various sources. In the end, you, along with the class, must vote on a site for the new landfill.
