The Multiple Intelligences WebQuest has been designed to introduce students to the concepts and ideas inherent in the theory of multiple intelligences, based on the work and research of Howard Gardner of Harvard University.

Dear Teacher,
You most likely teach the same kids as I do - Johnny's bright but quiet, Lisa is hyperkinetic and can't sit still for more than five minutes, Joseph likes to take things apart (like his desk or the door knob) and try putting them back together. Marie likes to doodle and is quite an artist.
The Multiple Intelligences WebQuest was designed as a 2-3 week online/ classroom unit in the area of pychometrics and psychometric testing and evaluation, with the influence of Robert Gardner's Multiple Intelligences Theory.
Your students will have fun taking the tests, putting together a presentation, and presenting their findings to the class.
They'll work and be evaluated individually and in small groups.
They'll have the opportunity to gain skill in online searching and research.
And finally, they'll much about themselves and their strengths.
