You have agreed to help Professor Bonneville create a brochure about where to find rocks in Utah for rock hound novices. All he has given you are several rocks, along with short descriptions for each one. Your job is to work with a team of three amateur geologists and learn all that you can about the three types of rocks. Afterwards, you will use the knowledge gained to help determine the type of rock that your group has chosen. Once you have determined the rock type, you will create a brochure and present your findings to your fellow geologists. Your brochure will be on display with the rock at the USGS Museum. The information from the brochure will be used to make the display so people can see it.
