Task

First, your task is to find out how the Cinderella story is told in different cultures around the world. In this investigation, you will decide what these stories have in common. Then you and your partner or group will present your findings in one (or more) of these ways: 

• Task #1: Write your own Cinderella story which uses the common elements of the stories you have read.

   

• Task #2: Write and perform a dialogue/conversation between two or more of the "Cinderellas" in which they discuss their roles and how they are treated by others in their stories. Be sure to include similarities that you find.

   

• Task #3: Write and perform your own Cinderella play that takes place in your community. Remember to use the elements of the Cinderella stories that you have read.
