Evaluation
This will be a major grade in science and language arts and there will be four evaluations to get your grade. Complete the form provided by your teacher.
1. First, you will grade your teammate on how helpful they were. Did they do their share of the work? Did they help with research questions? Did they help wire the game board? Grade them as follows:
Excellent Partner – I want them to work with me again! 100% A
Good Partner – They could have helped a little more. 89% B
Average Partner – I did more than my share of the work. 79% C
Poor Partner – I did most of the work. 73% D
Failing Partner – I did all the work. 65% F
2. Now, grade yourself on how you did when you took tests made by other teams. Be Honest! Give yourself a grade following the scale below:
Almost all the questions I tried I got right! 100% A
Most of the questions I tried I got right. 89% B
I only got about half of the questions I tried right. 79% C
I got most answers wrong. 73% D
I missed everything I tried. 65% F
3. Now, the third grade is to grade your team’s game board: Is it neatly done? (25 points) Is it your best effort? (25 points) Are your questions good fourth grade/fifth grade questions? (25 points) and does your board work? (25 points?)
4.A fourth grade on your paper will be given by the teacher. Spelling, punctuation, paragraphing and grammar will count. Be sure you touched on the items mentioned in number 12 under the process!
All of these grades will be averaged together to give a single grade on the project in both subjects
