Step 1
As a beginning travel agent, you will work in teams of two. One team
member will be the recorder and the other team member will be the researcher.
The researcher is
responsible for working the mouse and deciding where to go. The recorder
is responsible for writing down any information the team will need. Even numbers will be researcher on even days, and odd numbers will be researchers on odd days. Step 2 You will create your landforms passport. On your passport you will include 7 different types of landforms, with a picture and a definition for each one. You will also include at least one place on earth where your landform is located. Click on the Click on the following transportation to take you to information for your passport.
**In addition to the previous links, be sure to use your classroom maps, globes, dictionaries and encyclopedias books for any other information you might need.
Step 3 Now you may watch some videos about landforms to help you choose the best one for your clients.
Step 4
Now that you know about many different landforms, choose the BEST one.
This is the one you want to recommend to travelers. Click brochure
to see what information you will need to include. Step 5 Create your brochure using
the brochure template in Microsoft Office Publisher. Step 6
Check the evaluation page to be sure you
have everything completed and it looks great for presentation. Step 7
Edit your brochure. Save your work in the common folder in the folder called Land forms. Make sure you put your names in the title. Step 8 Practice your presentation. What are you going to say to convince them to choose your landform? Remember, they can read your brochure, so don't just read it. Make your presentation as exciting as your brochure. Step 9 Schedule an appointment to make your presentation.
