What makes a good Wanted Poster?
The usual facts: height, gender, weight, hair color, photo - all those things you'd see on the notices in the local post office. Students will most likely not find that specific of information on their subjects. What they can find are the crimes committed, aliases, modus operandi, and some great history.
Fear of What Appears to be a Monumental Task? (Task 1)
Fear nothing - that "find" function can make the job quick! You may want to demonstrate it with the name "Hale" on a few sites. I've numbered the sites to make it easier for them to shoot thru the search, and keep a list of the site numbers that they get hits on, so they can go back and explore the relevent sites in more detail. Much of "spy - work" (I understand) is slogging thru the mounds of data for those needed bits of vital information. If they can "cut, paste, and restate" in a Word document from the sites that is a super time saving trick too!
