Task
You will be creating an portfolio of Poetry.
Your booklet must include the following:
- List of at least 10 poetic elements
- List 10 types or forms of poetry
- Definitions and examples of terms from both of the lists.
- You must list 26 types of poetry and place them in alphabetical order. Choose 1 type of poetry for each letter of the alphabet.
Continuing on your booklet then will include:
- Choose 5 poets that you have learned about and write a brief paragraph about that poet. Type one of their poems that you enjoyed reading on the same page.
- Choose 10 forms of poetry and create your own original poems in those forms.
A rubric is provided so that students know how their portfolio will be evaluated.
