Using the following links below, make a list of 10 types of poetry. Now you will want to look at the definitions, then rewrite them in your own words. You may also use the online dictionary to help you with definitions. You may copy and paste the poem that was used in the types of poetry.

Research and find 5 famous poets and write a brief biography about them. If it states why they became a writer of poetry, then add that into the biography. A picture of your poet will get extra points.

On your own select TEN types of poems that you have learned about and create your own original poetry in those forms.
