Students will need to know how to research on the internet and how to take notes. Being able to work with a partner is essential in completing this project. As a variety of presenting options are available, skills in using Microsoft Power Point, Publisher, or other programs will be necessary. The cooperating teacher of course has the right to select any presentation method that he or she feels will best serve the needs of their students.

This project integrates cooperative learning requiring students to work in groups of two through out this project. They are to work as "Design Team Experts" and create a series of experiments for students in our class to explore and learn about light. The original pair will decide which member will be A, which member will be B.

The "A" partner will need to regroup with another "A" student ; and "B" with a "B" student. These students will then research the different web sites indicated in the "Process" section. After completing the research, A and B students reunite, and decide on a plan to present to the class. After presenting their findings our class will use the rubric found in "Evaluation" to help us decide which plan to implement. The final activity will be doing the experiments.
