The END of the road......

By the time that you have completed this webquest journal assignment you will have a comprehensive understanding of not only the Holocaust as an historic event, but also an intimate understanding of the Holocaust through the eyes of those who endured it.  Now you that have seen and read individual accounts of these individuals who were forced to undergo inhumane treatment beyond what most of us will ever endure or witness, what will you do with the information you have acquired?  How does this knowledge affect you?  How does learning about such an atrocity as the Holocaust impact your view of humanity?  What will you do with the knowledge you have gained?  What is the purpose in studying such an event in history?
