Standards:

1.  Writing:  This WebQuest requires students to synthesize discovered information into a paragraph using the targeted comparative and superlative adjectives grammar.  

2.  Speaking:  Students will read their paragraphs to the class.  Students will work in teams and write a paragraph together, thus requiring students to speak English to each other when determining how to write their team's paragraph.

3.  Listening:  Students will listen to each other when working on their paragraph as well as listen to an explanation on superlative and comparative adjectives to reinforce the grammar point. 

4.  Reading:  Students will read all of the information on the assigned topic in English.  This submersion technique will teach students how to find key words and phrases by scanning while reading.  This will aid in their comprehension of the websites.  This lesson not only shows students how to use the web to support their English language learning but also as a tool to aid in reading comprehension.  In order to successfully complete the WebQuest, students must comprehend the information they read in English to correctly answer the posed question and write a paragraph using the targeted grammar.
