I also suggest viewing children's sites of webpages. The English level is lower, thus studnets learning English have an easier time reading and comprehending them. Also, sometimes children's websites have good games for students to play as an added bonus and extrinsic reward for reading the webpage.

www.wikipedia.org This is a good general information website. The language is a bit too technical for students learning English, however.
http://simple.wikipedia.org/wiki/Main_Page This website gives students a chance to improve their foreign language self esteem as the English level is lower and therefore easier to comprehend.
