 This WebQuest is designed for pre-university youths who already have a good background knowledge of twentieth century History, and are studying History by choice. They should be familiar with the theme of suspicion and power politics, plus in the know on the general lead-up to the Cold War after 1945.

Students should be interested in the idea of IT being an integral part of their learning process. The WebQuest ultimately aims to get students to explore in greater depth the intricacies of Cold War history independently, and to put into good use the myriad of online resources available in order to understand the reigning perspectives on the origins of the Cold War.

 The components of the WebQuest are designed to test and hone students' historical skills, group dynamics skills and oral presentation skills, albeit in a fun and interactive way.
