Introduction

Goals and Context

Through the activities in this WebQuest, students (you) will explore the relationships between the arts, social commentary and the global environment.  You will make efforts to increase your understanding of the significant role that some artists choose to play in raising public awareness about global concerns such as the environment and our climate crisis, sustainability, human rights, politics and social values.  The over-arching goal is to explore this relationship in your own work, and to incorporate intelligent social commentary into art projects.
