This webquest was written using the Georgia Performance Standards for 7th grade Social Studies. Students will create their own African country including details related to religion, climate, industry, economy, ethnic groups, topography, government, etc.

Welcome to Africa!
You are about to embark on a webquest that will allow you to virtually travel around the African continent. You will encounter lush rain forests, vast deserts, and raging rivers. Come explore the variety of religions, cultures, and governments. Your imagination and creativity will come in handy as you discover how unique an African country can be.
