Task

In this WebQuest, you will learn the five steps of the Hero's Journey.  You will read about how they apply to two stories.  You will then watch a video clip that traces the Hero's Journey in a movie.  Next, you will read a story from classical mythology and apply the Hero's Journey to that story.  Finally, you will select your own epic tale to retell and identify each of these elements.  You will create a project to demonstrate your understanding of both the hero's journey and the story you select.
