Task
It is your job to research the the experiences of a woman who served the country (either at home or abroad) and to create acurate depictions of the events and emotions that women dealt with during and after war time.
You are to write one, one page journal entry.
Upon completion, you will work with another writer to compare and contrast your findings. If you researched a woman on the homefront, your partner will have researched a woman on the frontline of the war (or vise versa).
As a pair, you will present your journal entries to the class in a presentation. The format in which you present is up to you!
You may choose to:
1.) Design a poster to show the similarities and/or differences that the women you researched experienced.
2.) Each choose an object that would have been used by the woman you researched and explain how she would use it and why it was impotant to her. If you choose to do this, you should also explain whether or not the object choosen would have been used by the woman your partner researched.
3.) Project of your choice.
